Happy Easter

About 2 weeks ago beside and behind our place. Pink trees on left are peaches in bloom, tall trees behind them are walnuts and the white trees are prunes.

Happy Easter to you,

This is a good time for us as I got a good report from the doctor,  Seems as though he did a good job with my surgery and left me with clear margins and negative for cancer in the lymph nodes.  In about 3 weeks I will undergo about 5 weeks of radiation just as a precautionary rehab. I am doing well but just low energy right now but it improves daily.  Ric also is doing well,  We just have to curtail our usual spring travel.

Our family will have our annual picnic after church on Sunday.  There are so many of us that we only gather once a year now.  We will 50-60 family members at our gathering which will be a fun time.  Our grand  daughter from Sacramento will be here as well as her sister who will fly in from Bismarck.  It will be great to see them both.  We will miss Sharon and David and other grandkids,

We appreciate so much hearing from you.  Friends and family certainly make a big difference especially in time of need.  Thank you.

We send our best to you for a happy and healthy Easter.

These are the most recent pictures of our latest trip to OR and WA.  We just arrived home yesterday evening.  Had a wonderful trip and was able to visit with family some.  The fruit trees are gorgeous.  The peach trees have already been in full bloom and we missed them.  They are several shades of pink and a nice contrast to the prunes.

Ric is doing fine now.  We still do not know what it was but he does not have any pain. I got a cold from hospital germs but it is gone now.

So we are both well and enjoying life.  My surgery is Thursday at noon and  I got a clean bill of health from my doctor today to proceed with surgery.  So that will be over soon.

Sending happy thoughts to you all.

Love and joy

Ric and Jan
