Cruise to present

Hello all,

We had a very uneventful cruise Dec. 3-19. We flew to Malaga, Spain (a story in itself) where we boarded the Azamara Quest Ship and sailed to Rio do Janiero. We had several ports of call where we walked around the cities. We were not impressed by Brazil, It was hot, humid and somewhat dirty, but the beaches in Rio were beautiful. I think we won't do long airplane trips again as there is so much waiting in lines and standing. There was a lot of walking too but that is fine.

Right after Christmas I had my yearly mammogram and a lump was found. Long story short is the tumor is cancer so I will have surgery mid March probably followed by radiation. It has been caught early and is stage 1 so I am not worried. Please keep me in your prayers and think positive thoughts.

We are going to Oregon Coast for a week the end of Feb. and then to WA for a little over a week and then home mid March. I hope I am able to return to Seattle for Sasha's 3rd birthday April 17. It may just work out. We will see.
