5 great iPhotos NIAGARA FALLS
HI,
We had 2 great days in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. We arrived in
the afternoon and saw only the first view from the corner by our
hotel. It was raining and not a real good day to walk down the hill
to a better view of the falls.
The next morning we walked down a very steep hill and walked along
the side of the falls for a long ways. It was very misty from the
falls but beautiful. After being there for a while we decided to go
back up the hill and found a people mover which would take us up the
steepest part which was really good . We still had a long walk that
day.
In the evening we decided to walk over to another part of town in
which we would eat. After looking for a long time we ended up at a
Denney's Diner and had a good meal. Overall we had a great time.
We were there 24 years ago and David was with us. We were on the
American side then. The Canadian side is better and the view was
wonderful for both sides as you can see.
We spent the next night in Albany NY and going across NY was fun as
we got off the interstate and took a country road and it was much
more scenic. Lots of hills and green trees with corn and soy beans
growing.
We arrived in Brookline, NH the next day for a wonderful 4 day visit
with my friend of 60 years and her family. We enjoyed our stay so
much. The three of us went to the movie UP and it was in Nashua, NH
at a theater that served lunch while you enjoyed the movie. That was
a new experience for all of us. Such fun.
Then on to Frederick, MD where we attended my first cousin's wedding
yesterday. Friday we arrived at our hotel just before a tornado hit
the county and we were safely inside before the torrential rain and
winds came. Yesterday was a beautiful day for a wedding which was
held at an old mansion. It was the perfect setting. (Pictures to
follow) A great time was had by all. It is always nice to be with
family again.
Today we attended the Unity Church in Frederick where we were warmly
welcomed again. The minister knows us now as we attend there as
often as we can. It was a good service.
Now we have moved in to our home for the next 2 months at New Windsor
Conference Center and have begun "work" a little.
So now you know what we are up to. What are you up to? It is always
good to hear from you.
Love and hugs,
Mom, Dad, Grandmother and Granddaddy
